Recently I was given the opportunity to try out a line of vegan liquid lipsticks from Miskos Cosmetics. I’m writing a whole blog post about it because these things are GOOD.
It honestly takes a lot for a liquid lip to impress me. Not only can they be difficult to pull off, they can become patchy and blotchy realllll quick if you aren’t careful. For me, they either dry up and look unflattering after spending more than 5 minutes on my face, or it winds up all over my teeth and ends up making me look like a crazy person.
That said, I was so pleasantly surprised when I found out just how long wearing and not drying these beauties are – and by long wearing I mean that I ate a whole platter of black bean fajitas last night and my lips still looked just as good as they did when I initially applied the product.
Aside from the way that the product actually wears, the shade range is insane. I seriously can’t pick out a color that I DON’T love in this collection. Just look at these swatches.
And can we discuss packaging?? They come in the cutest little box all lined up with their glitter pink tops. It’s the best.
These go on beautifully with their doe foot applicator, and they can easily be layered in multiple coats for fuller coverage with those darker shades. They don’t have a tendency to crack like so many other liquid lips that I’ve tried, and they don’t leave a lasting stain long after you’ve taken off your makeup (hello Kylie matte lip kits I am talking to you).
The best part of all of this is that you can get this set of eight for under $15. Amazing.
I can’t sing these lipsticks’ praises enough – I am so over the moon impressed with and excited about these. I feel like the liquid lipstick gods have heard my prayers and given me the perfect set of quality liquid lip staples to keep in my makeup collection. My only problem now is choosing which one of these gorgeous shades will be my everyday go – to! :- )
I should also let you all know that they have a liquid metal lip collection available as well. I haven’t personally tried them out yet, but if they’re anything like the matte set, I can promise you that you won’t be disappointed.
